Creating A Daily Worship Time - July Worship Playlist & Prayer Guide

Today I am sharing with you our current playlist with accompanying verses and how I would go about praying through the songs. This is how I craft my dedicated praise and worship time. If you are in a season where you are craving more time in the presence of the Father we pray this playlist and guide encourages and inspires you!
I LOVE praise and worship. I am a big believer that your experience with it corporately at church on Sundays is a reflection of your private praise and worship time.
I pick 4 to 5 songs that feel relevant to my current circumstances and create a playlist that I listen to for a few weeks. I love picking songs with truths I struggle to believe or wrap my head around and playing them until I feel like my soul believes the words I am declaring through them.

Focus:
Every new day is a fresh invitation to grow closer to the Father and to grow more in our understanding of how crazy about us He is. If you find yourself longing for more of His presence and fellowship in your life, reflect on His love throughout this song and invite Holy Spirit to spend time with you. Imagine Him right there with you.

Focus
I have always been gripped by the line “Lay back against You and breathe, feel Your heartbeat.” His presence is a place where you can catch your breath. It’s a place where you can find rest and peace. Imagine being so close you can hear His heart. Take a moment to focus on your breath. Rest in the peace of His presence.
Prayer Guide
You are a safe place. Thank You for always leading me to find You. In the chaos, in the business, in the highs and lows of life, You are always there to be found. I am thankful for the place You provide me at Your side where I can catch my breath and rest in your peace and love.
Father, would you overwhelm me yet again with your peace? Would You come and remind me of Your love. Will You help me to sense Your closeness today?

Focus
His love for you is not dependent on you. You are loved at your highs and your lows. His love for you reaches you at your mountain top moments, your seasons in the valley and every step in between. With Him, you will always find open arms, refuge, and a place of belonging.
Prayer Guide
You are always there to catch me when I fall. You always draw me in when I wonder or become distracted. Thank You for never keeping a record of my wrongs. Thank You for being so faithful to me even with my short attention span. Thank You for holding me together when my circumstance become shaky.

Focus
Our hearts long for more. They long for connection and belonging. We long to feel valued, important, loved, and understood. The Father satisfies these longings.
There is always more of Him and His love, peace, rest, kindness, favor, and mercy to discover. The mystery of Him is inexhaustible.
Prayer Guide
Teach me, Father. Teach me to hear Your voice better. Teach me to be more sensitive to Your heart and your direction. Teach me to find my wholeness and value in You. Teach me what it looks like to draw near to You.

Focus
You couldn’t outrun His goodness if you wanted to. His love and kindness are stamped across the entire history of our lives.
Take time to think through or write out significant moments and seasons that the Father’s faithfulness saw you through.

Put this one on repeat until you know the words and let the song be your prayer and declaration.

I find that repetition only increases the over all experience. As you sing the songs each morning and pray the words you are learning they get stuck in your head and follow you into your day. I will listen to the same playlist until I am feel ready to move on.
